Cape Verdean citizens now have expanded travel privileges, allowing visa-free access to 92 countries and territories. This expansion in travel freedom presents new opportunities for both leisure and business travel without the need for a pre-obtained visa.
To enjoy visa-free travel, Cape Verde passport holders must ensure that their passport is valid for at least six months from the date of travel. Additionally, some countries may require travelers to have valid travel insurance.
At many airports in these countries, there are special sections designated for those acquiring a Visa on Arrival (VOA). Upon arrival, travelers can submit their visa application and receive it from the issuing country.
For those traveling to eVisa-eligible destinations, the process is simple and convenient. Unlike traditional visas, eVisas do not require a visit to a visa application center.
